It just doesn't die. The Daily Illini has managed to glean two articles and an editorial within the past week and a half about GEO's refusal to take part in a GSAC sponsored debate against a now-defunct anti-union group named SATURN. I'm not going to take the time right now to link directly to the online articles, but you can search them out yourself at dailyillini.com.
GEO refused to participate because it's a misleading format: the choice isn't about GEO v. SATURN; it's about GEO or no union representation whatsoever, and no contract. Of course, it's a difficult situation, because GEO wants voters to make an educated decision; that's why we're out talking to grads. But a misleading forum would do a greater disservice than no forum at all.
